Calgary Roots & Professional Background
The Godlonton family has called Calgary home since 1884, and Glen himself was born and raised in the Killarney community. After attending Viscount Bennett High School, SAIT, and the University of Calgary, Glen built a successful international sales and marketing career before turning to real estate.
Glen’s early professional background includes over 20 years in sales, marketing, negotiation, and management, operating two successful international companies focused on software, technology, and high-tech navigation equipment. He credits this experience with honing the skills that now serve his real estate clients—strategic thinking, negotiation expertise, and a results-driven approach.

Glen began his real estate career in 1999 with RE/MAX Realty Professionals, where he spent over two decades building a trusted reputation and earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award.
In 2020, at the start of COVID-19, Glen transitioned to CIR Realty, one of Alberta’s largest and most respected brokerages, providing clients with expanded resources, advanced technology, and broader marketing opportunities.
